Austin EcoNetwork's Mission: Help Austinites lead the way toward a healthy, sustainable community and planet. Actions: We provide a valuable connecting place for Austin-area organizations, businesses and the public sector to share information and resources, dialogue and connect with each other, take action and shape policies that foster sustainability. Individuals get connected with existing eco groups, businesses and thought leaders and are mobilized to take actions. Together we steward the planet’s resources, create healthy home and work environments, and contribute to a thriving local economy. Austin EcoNetwork gathers, organizes, distributes, and shares information from and about local environmental groups and projects, and facilitates collaboration among those organizations, their constituents, and other stakeholders. We use online tools and community engagement to foster greater involvement in local environmental organizations, efforts, and events.
